Links for the rejected:

Hiring Manager: I grow tired of this applicant we interviewed two weeks ago. He is calling and asking us questions about when we will make our choice. Will he not learn? I think we should continue ignoring him and not even tell him if he was not picked. That would be expected. People do not want to hear from us right? So we will not even respond. Boy we are gonna save millions by not bothering to respond to applicants as well as the ones we actually interview.

Everyone else in the room: Excellent idea sir! We will be RICH!

And here is what they were:

Please explain to me firstly the purpose of keeping my C.V on file when you have already made up your mind that you have "no vacancies now and in the foreseeable future...".That is a good reason to keep it on file, thanks!

Secondly XYZ requires ABC to do the dirty work or?

Lastly, this one really got to me, it is not just sufficient to send a reject letter, but you want to also second guess the reason for sending the application in the first place by writing "...which would meet your experiences and interests". I am an IT Manager applying for the post of an IT Manager with the necessary experience and interests as stated in the advert...so maybe you are the one who got your "experiences and interests" mixed up. Unbelievable !!!!
