Links for the rejected:

Hiring Manager: I grow tired of this applicant we interviewed two weeks ago. He is calling and asking us questions about when we will make our choice. Will he not learn? I think we should continue ignoring him and not even tell him if he was not picked. That would be expected. People do not want to hear from us right? So we will not even respond. Boy we are gonna save millions by not bothering to respond to applicants as well as the ones we actually interview.

Everyone else in the room: Excellent idea sir! We will be RICH!

And here is what they were:

I've been unemployed for a time now. I've tried temp agencies, websites, and newspapers. You name it and I?ve tried it. This marks almost a dozen rejections thus far. The people in this community make me sick. I will find something someday, whether it's in 2 days or 2 years or 2 decades.

Comments from a Staff Member:

I do like the fact that this cookie cutter letter has a space for the position and date you applied on. This is a good sign that some machine did not just spit this rejection out, but someone had to actually enter that data. Not that that changes the fact that you were rejected, but I am sure that the fine people at Anderson News Company will be sure to contact you ?directly?. They did a good job at rejecting you indirectly.
