Hiring Manager: I grow tired of this applicant we interviewed two weeks ago. He is calling and asking us questions about when we will make our choice. Will he not learn? I think we should continue ignoring him and not even tell him if he was not picked. That would be expected. People do not want to hear from us right? So we will not even respond. Boy we are gonna save millions by not bothering to respond to applicants as well as the ones we actually interview.

Everyone else in the room: Excellent idea sir! We will be RICH!

And here is what they were:

This is just your basic cookie cutter response about a company looking over tons and tons of applications. I did notice a few things that made me laugh.

1. On the back tear away form about my race, there was no pre paid postage. It is not that I expect that, it is just I have to pay for them to collect data about me.

2. I really liked the White (not Hispanic) and Black (not Hispanic) selections. Apparently Whites and Blacks are so close to Hispanic, you have to remind me not to pick White or Black if I am Hispanic. Not to mention most of these things now say Caucasian instead of White.

Comments from a Staff Member:

Nice! So looking at this, one would assume they want Hispanics or either you are too stupid to realize what White and Black means.
