Where was that resume I told you to file? Can you bring it back with three additional copies?
Employee: Oh, I am sorry. I thought when you said to file it, you meant throw it in the trash like always.
Employer: Ah who am I kidding! We were just gonna hire someone else anyway. The janitor told me about his nephew, who has a computer.

Dear XOXOXOXO,View Comments
The firm of Floyd, Yates, and Associates would like to inform you that we have received and reviewed your application and transcripts for employment with our firm. We are sad to say we are unable to offer you an interview at this time, because we feel your academic standing is not what we expect our new associates to come aboard at. We only recruit candidates with a 3.4 G.P.A. out of possible 4.0. Though, your 3.1 is admirable, it is below our standards.
We thank you for your time and effort, and wish you well in the future.
Floyd, Yates, and Associates.
